Catchup.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Overall, 2008 has been a good an "acceptable" year.... despite a few major ups and downs in the world.

Why? You and me are still alive and you still have the time to read this. Look at life positively, we managed to live another year...

Now everything has grown another year older and we are crossing into 2009. See, even the glass has grown taller (than the straw!!)

CellFood...

..

I came across this.... somewhere.

At a glance, I thought this is simple Chinglish.. or loosely known as Chinese English...

I Google it and had the answer I want... hmm something new in the market..

I am not promoting this product or had anything to do with this... if you want to know, do Google it up your self.

Well.. this must be some new break through in the food technology... but wait a minute...

..want to know where I found this sticker...? See below:

Yeah, right!

Daylight Robbery... in Boleh Land!

Merry Christmas to all readers!

Look at this.....

...and this....

..bet you have not seen something like this!!! I am lucky to survive this and now able to post this blog...! Thank God! Someone up there still loves me!!

Here is the story....

I was sending Ah Mah Bus (my mum's car which she used to ferry the kids to kindergarten hence the name) for air-cond servicing this morning.

It was a normal Christmas morning with nothing exiciting.....

All of sudden a police car pulled up.... and bang here bang there.. swoshh here swoosh there... pishhh .. here pissh there... see picture below:

... and after all the washing and drying, the police car left. Just like that without paying! Not even a thank you! Not even any acknowledgement from the driver... Damm arrogant...as if nobody was there, and nothing happens!

Hmm, the business must be so good even the local police is having all the car to be washed here or the services are superb.

Maybe the police had a buku 555 arrangement with the washer... (meaning account, wash now pay later credit arrangement) but I observed this after the police car left, all the washer... cursed the car... and started to spit!!!

Sigh.. what do you think?

You can see the policeman in the picture wearing a dark blue T-Shirt with a PDRM logo (in front of the shirt) on it...

LCCT....

..

...is Looks Cheap Cheap Terminal but it is NOT.

A taxi ride from LCCT to KLIA main building cost RM32.20 only, and this is BUDGET.

Maybe they slap me with a surcharge... as I woke the lady up from sleeping, while manning the coupon counter. The time of the ticket issued is... 06:40:10 am.

... what next?

Prostitute... Anyone??

..

This is a toilet in one of the hyper market..... more of a grafitti, or an advertisement of services.

I am not sure if:

1) This is real, meaning a prostitute providing real services; or

2) A pimp, plying his trade; or

3) Someone getting even with someone.... ; or

4) Someone playing a prank; or

5) I need to call this number to find out and verify it for you.. maybe you may be interested in using the services provided!

We have this in Malaysia... not bad! We are catching up fast on the attributes of a developed countries.

... in case you need the number, email me!

...LOSE WEIGHT NOW ASK ME HOW!

..

This must be a God sent message to me... or is it to you? (as you are reading it now!!?)

Noticed the message... in the picture below?

Well, the be frank with you I came across this car a couple of months ago but I was not ready back then...

Today, I am destined to meet with this car again!

..and this time around, you bet, I am more than ready to snap some pictures...!

This is what appears on the car...

..either the economy is so bad, that people needs to advertise badly.. or this person is a good marketeers!! I hope this person does well in his life!

As this is a 'public' picture.... I will not erase the contact number, but leave it as it is.

Just in case you needed it!

"Papa is busy.. go ask your mummy!!!"

..

I was on the way back from Bagan Lalang with my family during the Raya Haji outing

Passed through Banting town and had to stop at one of the traffic lights.

Something caught my children's attention and they asked me... "Pa... what are P K S R E E O M K K M B E O O A L I I H means..... "

I said "Huh..."

They replied louder "P K S R E E O M K K M B E O O A L I I H"

I looked at where they pointed and they came from some banner... by the roadside and damm... I have no idea.. what they are!

Thought that this will be one of those question that any dad would say...

"Papa is busy.. go ask your mummy!!!"

I had to scrap the thoughts... as it is not good for the child developments...

I pretend I could not find the sign... and they repeated the words... almost shouting in the car

"P K S R E E O M K K M B E O O A L I I H"

DO you know what they are? Answer will be posted in due course.

Electricity prices to be cut by 25% !!!

I was in Singapore today... collecting miles attending a meeting.

Caught this on the local newspaper:

I thought I would never live to read something like this, but this is true....

Value....

..

Let's talk about value today.

What is value? How do you value value?

Well, something of value to me may not be something of value to you...

..meaning you may pay a high price for a beautiful painting but you need to pay me for me to keep it. I do not know how to appreciate the value of painting thus, any paintings looks the same to me porn is different....

Therefore, who is to set the value of my personal stuff? Me right?

You may only guess the value, but definately will not get it right..

Now, let's look at this sticker:

If everything I carry... is valuable to me... can I carried all my belongings with me and not check them in when I fly with MAS?

..and I wonder, why is there a need to label the baggage, inside and outside if you are going to hand carried them with you!

...somemore.. you need to lock it!

Is it that bad...meaning you will be rob during a flight?

Well, guess I will carry a knife or get a gun somewhere for self protection the next time I catch a flight!

Only in Canada!

..

FAT people will now get two seats for the price of one on flights within Canada

The same colleague that went to Australia recently sent me the above link.... (please click the aboe link to read the full story)

The landmark decision by a Canadian court is:

Obese air travellers have won the right to two seats for the price of one in Canada.

I am not sure if I should be happy or sad about this...

I may be consider as FAT....

I know that being FAT is no fun and it comes with plenty of health hazards.

I have a choice to lose weight, but I am too lazy to do it or procrasinates... till tomorrow

Do I really have a choice....!?

Anyway, I am not sure if this case will have any impacts on the aviation industries..

..Malaysia bila lagi?

Thaksin wants you!!

..

I am not sure if you love or hate Thaksin.... or maybe you don't know or care about him...

Which Thaksin?

This Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra

I am not going to write what he has done or what he has not done to you or to Thailand, but I want to inform you that he is hiring!

If you are one of the Asia's best talent.... He wants you!!! I am not sure for what, but I am sure.. they pay must be good.

Don't believe me..... read his letter...

This was advertised in the Financial Times recently... half a page... and must be expensive!

In case you need a clearer read.... see below.

If you are that good, are you willing to work for him?

Is it morally wrong for me to work for him.... even after what we know what he did to Thailand??

..the pay must be good!!

sigh... "Don't give up hope in the crisis."

We have a new flag!

Source of this picture: click here

Do you know that Malaysia has a new flag!!! How could you don't know.. you must be joking. The new flag was endorsed by PM of Malaysia.

Please surrender your citizenship, if you are a Malaysian and you do not know about this!!

Look at the picture above really carefully.... especially the star on the flag!!

"The 14 points of the star signify the unity of the 13 states with the Federal Government."

Damm.... how could this happened??

Sigh! I wonder what next!?

Angry.... IQ Test... what next?

..

To be frank, I was very angry with someone on the blogosphere... today.

To me, he had crossed the point of no return and offended me endlessly. He has to pay...

To reduce my bitterness, I had these bad thoughts on how I am to take my revenge to him!

To give him the taste of his own medicine..... so to speak.

Half way plotting my evil plan.... and reducing my good karma... I came across something interesting on his website... yeah right, I got to do my homework right?

It was something that I wanted to do but never take the time or trouble to do it correctly....

I clicked at the link.. and finished the test!! Immediately, I was transformed.

Below is the link that distracted my angry mind, in order for me to regain the state of mindfullness!

IQ Test!

..wow, looks like I am not that bad after all! This is my result:

IQ Test Score

He must be 'fated' to be my teacher... somehow. Life is full of mystery.

May all be well and happy!!

Sometimes.....!?

..

Sometimes, you do not need to say lots of words to make someone happpy.

Sometimes, the less you say the better it is.

Sometimes, it would be much better not to say anything.

Sometimes, just being there means a lot!

Sometimes, not being there is also important.

Sometimes, just a word, even with the wrong spelling means a lot too!!!

Now, lets look at the following picture, it means a lot to me:

...when you received this type of message.... what is on your mind?

Anyway, here is my reply... short and sweet!

Papaya...wearing skirt!

..

... I am speechless.

This is a papaya tree..... with some papayas on it, or what appears to be some papayas inside the cloth. The clothing appears to be a skirt.... or looks like one.

I am not sure what is inside the skirt... but it seems to be some papayas.

I was tempted to touch the papaya... but am not willing to risk someone shouting at me. So I just took some pictures of this papaya.

I am not sure if it is ripe, but I am guessing, it must taste so good when ripe, until the owner is willing to 'clothed' the papaya.

Papaya... I love papayas! Yummy!

My colleague went to Australia.. and this is what he gave me!

..

I received a picture sent via Skype today from one of my colleague, whom is in Adelaide for business trip.

This is what he sent me.....

Now... if you are in my shoes (no pun intended), would you approve the claim for:

1) A new pair of shoes

2) The cost of buying the masking tape
[10:53:26 AM] AA- MW says: those tape already cost IDS AU$ 7.89.

3) Both of the above

4) None of the above

5) Do not ever send him on overseas assignment!

...tough work eh?

Yes Sir. Yes Sir

..

Maid. I am not sure about the rest of the world but in this region, live-in domestic helper or a.k.a. maid is a must especially in a family where both the husband and wife are working plus the presence of kids at home. Of course, any families may chose not to have one and life still goes on.

Some, gone to the extend to have more than one!!

As for my family, one is enough...

Our second maid decided to go home after 2 years contract recently and we have to replace her. During the transition period, we have to go without any maid.

We are so happy when the agent called up and declared the replacement will be arriving.

That was two months ago.... and here is a picture of her.

Well... she is still working with us at home and I noticed that she is a Yes Maid.

Me: Where do you keep the toothpick I bought?

Maid: Yes Sir.

Me: You know, that day when we went to Tesco, I bought some toothpick.... where is it now?

Maid: Yes Sir!

Me: Do you know what is a toothpick?

Maid: Yes Sir! (and smiled....!)

Me: So where do you keep them? I need them now... please get it for me.

Maid: Yes Sir! (and continue to stand there, staring at me smiling!!!)

Me: !@!%$%$@!

Maid: Yes Sir!!!

Me: Go and do your work. I get it myself.

Maid: Yes Sir. (and still smiling.. and still standing there!!!)

Damm, talk about communication problems... guess we have to bear with her for a long time! Apart from this, we do not wish to take the chances to replace her. We may be getting out from the pot into the fire!

This is what it meant in her profile, when she puts there... able to communicate in English!

I do hope with time, she should be able to understand what I am saying.. and give me less stress.

Yes sir, Yes sir three bags full!

Shochu... kampai!!

..

I have a very good Indian friend, hailed from India. Have not seen him for ages, since he left Malaysia and gone home to India. Recently, he visited Japan and managed to drop by KL for some other important matters and brought me this.....

Well, I am not sure why he gave me this, but he told me... "Thanks, for your help!!" and continued "It is not the value of this drink, but more important, it is what is printed on the label!! You deserved this!!"

Wow... I can barely remember what I did.. but I guess... you will reap what you sow.. and this is karma.

Hmm.. what is printed there that makes him bought it for me..?

Here is the writing:

"Ougaku is for the man not easily swayed by the crowd - the man who can distinguish the truly genuine from the merely popular."

Wow, how true! In life, we need to distinguish the truth, and not to follow anyone blindly! We need to think, as in using your brain!

In case you are interested on what is written on the back of this Shochu.... here it is:

...all written in Japanese.

Well, I will save this and share it with my friends.

Kampai!

My kids... the Picaso!

..

I am trying very hard to keep the walls at home, as clean as possible by allocating the wall in my kids room, to be a grafitti wall. They have all the freedom to do what ever they want to the wall.... this is a very BIG mess.

You know, too much of restrictions is not good and the kids need to explore and build some self esteem.

As you might propably guessed, I am at the losing end... but still, when they grown up... I will have the momories of these! Of course, during some art attack session, any wall comes handy!

Here is the drawing of a fire engine...

.... in my room!

An abstract picture.... what do you see?

When they grown up, I will make them paint the wall...! Daddy will provide the paint!

A picture that hurts me...

..

I do not really want to write anything about politics here. Usually, they are dirty no matter how you look at it.

That said, I will post a picture, and comment on it...

This is not any pictures, but a picture that shows how Malaysian Government wasted spent my tax money...

Now... below are not trick questions....

1) Count how many civilian you can find in the picture above here.

2) Why is this fella wants to prove... by walking there? Safe?

3) He has nothing better to do?

4) The police force... so free ka?

5) Is he buying something?? I wonder what.!

My friends paid for this...! Did you?!

I was staying at Hilton during my recent trip to Kuching.

When I open the curtain every morning.. I saw this building.

I am proud to say that this is the building that was partially (say a tiny puny percentages) paid by my Kuching friends. Most probably a few bricks here and there... every month.

I envy them and told them that when the construction is done, please invite me for house warming party.. and they told me..

Kanasai!

Another project by the Pek Mo..... sigh.

Pai Jia Le..

..

Name... name... name...

What is in a name?

I still remember the trouble I had gone through for each of my child, just to get them a name. All of the should be done within 14 days to avoid the fine imposed by the authority.

Well, if you are too busy working for money, you can do it later... but this will only making the government richer. Does not make sense, right... you are trying to earn some money, but willing to give it up to the government!

Therefore, better solve the issue and life goes on.

What is in a name?

This an excerpt of the conversation after leaving office for dinner, in a car:

Me: Where are we going... any good recommendation?

Him: Pai jia le... (Not good to eat..!)

Me: .... what?

Him: Pai jia le!

Me: wei.. I knowlah... the cake for tea just now taste so bad...

Him: Pai jia le!!

Me: Yup.. agreed... more like not fresh.. because we are suppose to eat it for morning break...

Him: Pai jia le!!!

Me: Hei.. are you listening to me? Where are we going for dinner.. I am starving!!!

This is where we went for dinner.. Pai Jia Le!

"Pai Jia Le" sounds like "not good to eat" in Hokkien Language

The food there... not bad!!

High Fever...

..

I was hit with a very high fever... and nearly became mad. That is also why, I missed posting/updating my blog...

Luckily, someone up there still loves me and I am now normal... not only that... am able to fly to Kuching... will be here eating working until Friday.

What constitute fever: click here

hmm.. anything above 38 degrees C is high... than I should be lucky that I am still 'normal'... almost.

This is my how high my temperature in my body..reading taken... at home.

I have two of this at home.... especially with the kids around it is always good to have them handy.

This is me after the fever....

... I had turned into a blue-eyed boy! I hope. Why?

... I still have work in KUL but was sent to KCH to take a break and eat work.

...err we are internet company worldwide... location and work are mutually independent.. as long as there is good internet.. we can work.

..and now, I think I am mad.

..me still working now! after whacking some buffet steam boat just now

New use for kitchen utensils...!

..

Talk about kitchen utensils, you will always think about fork, spoon, knife and other variant for those.

Well, you may think that I am mad if I tell you that these can be used else where, and had nothing to do with eating...?!

...or at lease, if the knife is sharp, you could use it to kill someone.

Let's see what is the alternative use for these items... spoon and knife:

..normal spoon (for soup?)... arranged in a row, nothing special about this.

..more spoon and knife... arranged in a creative manner.. still nothing special about them!

.. err... more of these??

..well, they had been used as the 'decorations' of the grill for this shop.

I am not sure what are they selling... but the second floor is a hair saloon!

..
